I think it's almost a given to have to reroll if you use more than one canon category because, otherwise, it very often comes up with impossible combinations, i.e., write a story about Beren at Cuivienen! I like rolling all the literary categories and then one or two of the canon ones. I've yet to roll all ten and come up with a writeable story on the first try!
