The Lord of the Jewels - Chapter 24 - Attempt to Post
TITLE: The Lord of the Jewels
CHAPTER: Twenty-four
AUTHOR: Digdigil
RATING: Adult

SUMMARY:
The Lord of the Jewels consists of two interconnected stories; one set in Middle-earth and the other in Valinor. There are; however, some connections between the stories; mainly, the Silmarils themselves, and also the travel from M-e to Valinor of one person who affects the plot in both lands, and the travel from Valinor to M-e of another person who aids the evolution of certain events.
I put the novel together by interspersing chapters; i.e. one chapter concerns itself with Valinor and the next with M-e. I deviated from this in the first chapter, which consists of the prologue in Valinor and then the remainder of the chapter set in M-e. I did this again with the last two chapters as well, since by this time the reader would be familiar with the interconnected stories.
AUTHOR'S INTRODUCTION:
This was my first novel attempt, and I was fearful of it being boring, that I tried to make each and every chapter interesting; in other words, I tried to have something happen in each one. I'm not sure that this worked, as it may have made the thing too busy. There does seem to be an awful lot going on, upon re-reading the story. It is rather complicated, but shouldn't be for a fan of Tolkien. For anyone else, I am sure they would not know what is going on!
Anyway, here it is. Chapter 24 should be here if I can transfer it properly from MS Word.
