Title: The Very Secret Diary of NĂ¡mo
Author: Aramel
Rating: G
Warnings: Silliness.
Summary: I swear I meant to write something dark and philosophic. Instead I wrote a Very Secret Diary. With apologies and fluffs to Cassandra Claire, author of the original LOTR VSDs.

Title: Silence
Author: Aramel ([profile] aramel_calawen)
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Character death. Public burning, though not too graphic. Shameless historical inaccuracy.
Summary: An inhabitant of a medieval town witnesses the death of a supernatural being. For the Halloween challenge, though it probably isn't what's expected.

Silence )

Edit: Did I get the Quenya right? I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have used fir-, which tends to mean natural death, but I don't know any other word for it.

Title: A Conflict of Loyalties
Author: Aramel ([profile] aramel_calawen)
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Summary: Double-drabble. A Sindarin OC's take on Thingol's ban of Quenya. Or, why Fingon was still shouting in Quenya at the Fifth Battle-- and why his soldiers, a good portion of whom must have been Sindarin, were answering him.

Apologies to [personal profile] galadhir-- this bunny's been gnawing at me ever since I read Oak and Willow.

Title: Beyond Hope
Author: Aramel ([profile] aramel_calawen)
Rating: R/NC-17
Warnings: Graphic amputation.
Summary: Thangorodrim-fic. Because everyone else seemed to have done one, and there are some issues (eagles can't hover, amputation is messy, and so on) that I'd like to write. However, this means that it's quite graphic. No slash, though you can imagine it if you like.

I'd be grateful if someone could tell me the Quenya for Thangorodrim. Because otherwise I'm stuck calling it "the mountain" all the time.

Title: Gold
Author: Aramel
Rating: General
Warnings: None really.
Summary: Caranthir visits Brethil, looking for gold. Another take on Haleth/Caranthir.
A/N: Dangit, I really need to stop writing about the Feanorians. The next one will be from a pro-Valarin POV, even though I probably won't do well at it. (for some reason, I tend to side with rebels-- especially if there are gods on the other side)

Title: Patterns
Author: Aramel
Rating: General
Warnings: Character death. Some talk of (fictional) religion.
Summary: Tar-Miriel, in the days after Ar-Pharazon's fleet sailed for the west.
A/N: This fic has been difficult to write, simply because Miriel's hard to characterise. Some of you might consider her OOC, because I didn't make her one of the "Faithful". I don't see why anyone who's not in favour of Sauron's meddling and Ar-Pharazon's rule must necessarily be pro-Elves&Valar. Miriel in my story is neither.

I thought [profile] rhapsody11 might like this for her b-day fic, since she did ask about Numenor and I wrote it today; but in truth it's been a bunny hanging on to my ankle for ages. *ducks*

Title: Words
Author: Aramel
Rating: G (more-or-less)
Summary: Maglor in Doriath. Angsty, character death. Inspired by the word of the day for June 1, I think.

Crossroads

Title: Crossroads
Author: Aramel
Warnings: None
Rating: G
Type: Angst/Drama
Characters: Caranthir, Haleth
Summary: For the AU challenge: what might have happened had Haleth stayed in Thargelion. Haleth/Caranthir.

This is still rather rough, but I felt that it would have spoiled the mood to correct it. So I present, without further ado:

Crossroads )

Enamoured

Title: Enamoured
Author: Aramel
Warnings: None
Rating: G
Type: Angst/Drama
Characters: Celegorm, Aredhel, Luthien
Summary: Another theory-fic. Why Celegorm took to Luthien so quickly.

Double Drabble! The first time I've written anything Second Age...

Rating: G
Author: Aramel
Title: Fire
Summary: Celebrimbor makes a decision. A theory as to why there are three Elven Rings, and why the Earth-ring was omitted.
Disclaimer: I wish I owned all the swoonable Noldor, but I don't.

Fire )

However, it still has everyone's favourite Noldorin genius in it.

An Interview with Feanor

Title: An Interview with Feanor
Author: Aramel
Rating: G
Era: Any time after the First Age

This is something rather silly that I wrote. Basically, the title says it all...
