Akallabêth in August 2009--Available Topics

As noted in our most recent newsletter, the SWG will be holding an event for our annual Akallabêth in August challenge. If you'd like more information, please see the Akallabêth in August 2009 page on our website.

Following are the topics for which we still need writers. (Topics with a line through them have been claimed; if we get writers for most of the topics, we may allow duplicate entries.) If you are interested in participating, please read the guidelines and email us at moderator@silmarillionwritersguild.org or reply to this post to request a topic. Topics are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note that we need all types of contributions, from full stories to ficlets to poems to artwork.

ETA (16 June 2009): Some topics are now marked in italics as "stories/poems only." These are topics for which we will have artwork; if you are set on writing something for these topics, they may still be available for stories, ficlets, and poems.
