Our July 2018 newsletter has been posted!
This edition brings you the latest SWG news, including a new essay by Himring published in our Reference Library, a trip back in time to our "Seven in '07" compilation, and the usual reminder about our current challenge, which this month is "Analysing Arda". Last but not least, we extend a cordial welcome to a new member of our community.
This month Oshun presents the second part of her biography of Galadriel. Continuing from Part 1's analysis of Galadriel's role in the early legendarium, this month's biography considers her role in the Second and Third Ages, where her foresight and penchant for leadership often allowed her to operate in highly significant ways in bringing the Ring Quest to fruition.
Finished your latest read and looking for something new? Look no further! Our newsletter lists all the stories, essays, and poems added or updated on our SWG archive during the past month of June. To keep up to date with what is happening within the wider fandom world, the Around the World and Web section brings you a selection of recent articles of interest, fandom events, and calls for papers.
As always, this newsletter would not be possible without the contribution of several volunteers. Many thanks to this month's contributors--Oshun, Elleth, Angelica, and Dawn!
