Fingolfin + new member

Hi! I joined this community fairly recently, although I used to be rather active in Silmfics several years ago. ( Read more... )

I was pleased to see that Fingolfin was Character of the Month this January. I've always had a soft spot for him and his family. Another member of this community has already explained (better than I ever could) just why he is so sock-rockingly awesome, so I won't go into that. ;)

I've always thought that Fingolfin needs a bit more fandom love - and in that vein, I began an attempt to write something for this community; in honour of him and his being Character of the Month. The end result did not turn out as well as I might have liked (in terms of it being a tribute), and it is also (ahem) unbetaed, but I wanted to get this in before January was officially over. :)
