Our March 2018 newsletter has been posted!
This edition brings you the latest news within the SWG, including the launch of Back to Middle-earth 2018: Music of the Waters, the fascinating story of the Library of Tirion, and a reminder to participate in our “Breaking Boundaries” challenge. We also welcome four new members who joined us during February!
This month's biography is Lenwë, by Oshun. Lenwë was the first leader of the Nandor, the Telerin contingent that hesitated to cross the Misty Mountains. His history is inextricably entwined with the history of the Nandor, a people only glancingly described in the texts.
February was a short month but this year it has brought us around forty stories and poems added or updated in our archive, in case you are looking for something to read. Do not miss our newsletter’s Around the World and Web section which includes a wide collection of links to the latest articles, fandom news, challenges, conferences or events announcements from within and beyond the Tolkien fan community.
As always, this newsletter would not be possible without the contribution of several volunteers. Many thanks to this month's contributors--Oshun, Elleth, Angelica, and Dawn!
