Eee, I'm so relieved that you picked up on the ring as-a-golden-gleam - that was the idea, but I wasn't sure that it gets across. (It's not all that visible in the original, and my scanner loves to eat colour...) I love going mad with folds, so I'm also really happy that you see a parallel between the cloak and the sea.
I couldn't resist those outfits! Since I can't wear them - either of them! XD - myself, I figured I'd have to give them to some characters! And since Caranthir generally doesn't get a lot of love, I thought I'd change that a little. I think they do love each other very much. Thank you!
