hey, thanks for the pointing out the typo. I have corrected it. You are absolutely write. This story is set in... let's call it an alternative universe (it isn't really since I don't actually change anything in Tolkiens stories, just work around it and in regions and characters that went out of Tolkien's story, e.g. Maglor, Elured, Elurin and Daeron). It's been in my head for a long, long time and I am convinced it's slowly driving me insane.
My two recent fanfics, both of which were scrapped after a few chapters, had something to do with the massive epic storyline that's been stuck in my head. The first one, Bane, was only suppose to have elements from it only but the more it progressed the more I wanted to write more about the elements and less about what the central theme of the story was suppose to be. So I abandoned it. The latest was The Return, this one was suppose to be part of the epic storyline but I felt that the story telling was substandard and I had shown my hand too early, having become a bit too impatient. So I scrapped that as well. But I will put up the chapters and bits and pieces I have written here for comments and feedback. What can I say, I have been suffering from isolation since the Tolkien fandom communities I used to belong to have all moved on.
