End of MEFA Voting Approaches
Dec. 4th, 2007 01:27 amOn behalf of Marta, I am passing on this news:
Hey guys,
Just a friendly reminder: the 2007 Middle-earth Fanfiction Awards are coming to an end at the end of this month. All reviews must be submitted by 11:59 PM on December 30, no exceptions. (As with all MEFA times, that's GMT.) Also, if you have entered any draft reviews that you would like to be counted, please make sure you change them to hidden or final reviews by that same date.
Please note: December 30 is NOT the last day of the year. December has 31 days. Voting for the MEFAs ends on the day *before* New Year's Eve. (It's just the way the calendar worked out.) It's not too late to get involved. You still have the better part of a month to write reviews for any of the nominated stories. For most people, you'll need to join the MEFAwards Yahoo group; you'll be sent a password to our voting website within a day or two of joining the listserv. (Nominated authors: you can vote using the same password you used to fill in the information about your stories.)
If you've lost a password or need help participating in the awards, please email mefasupport@gmail.com. I'll answer your questions as quickly as possible. You can also check out our FAQ at http://www.mefawards.net/MEFA2007/index.php?page=FAQ.
We'll announce the results of the awards shortly after the New Year. Thanks, everyone, for all of your participation.
