This winter

dawn_felagund posted a series of short stories that was an attempt to force the muses into working during the cold months. One of these caught my eye and engaged my mind to the point that I was sure I would one day attempt to illustrate it. This story was Sudden Flame. The result of my interest is a two-page comic to express the images Dawn's story brought to my mind.

With Dawn's permission I am posting it here in the hope that others will also enjoy the interplay between words and drawings.

The words are Dawn's, the drawings are mine and the characters belong to Tolkien. :D

Dawn's AN:
