Yay! *jumps up and down with glee* One of the hopes with the project was that it would encourage people to wander outside their comfort zones ... ;)

(Says the woman who is doing a character study on a Noldo. Who is a scribe. [But not a Feanorian!])

This drabble, though, was amazing. I was reading along, okay, broadening horizons, yes, seeing the world, yes, and then you got to the bit about moving beyond the borders of the world, and it really brought everything together in a way I'd never thought of ... really beautiful and thought-provoking.

And don't you dare try to convince me that it was accidental! You're a good writer ... I'm on to you! ;)

Aragorn paused as he came in sight of the last homely house. A generation had passed since he last had returned to the place he still thought of as home. Long had he journeyed and much had he seen; wonders and horrors that he had not so much as dreamed of when he set out.

The inexperienced young chieftain had become a great leader of men, healer and warrior both worthy of the heart of the fairest of maidens.

Much had he suffered and much had he learned. Aragorn had left Rivendell as a boy and returned as a man.

Oh, how lovely! I like how you trace his journey as a leader alongside his personal growth as a man and bring it full-circle, from Rivendell to Rivendell. Beautiful work! :)

Absolutely lovely ... again (I hate to keep repeating myself!) but I am amazed at how much you fit into just 100 words: showing Glorfindel's character and his relationship with Ecthelion and conveying the cold and the hopelessness of Helcaraxe.

On cheating with hyphens? Totally guilty of that too! :D
