This drabble, though, was amazing. I was reading along, okay, broadening horizons, yes, seeing the world, yes, and then you got to the bit about moving beyond the borders of the world, and it really brought everything together in a way I'd never thought of ... really beautiful and thought-provoking.
And don't you dare try to convince me that it was accidental! You're a good writer ... I'm on to you! ;)

Aragorn paused as he came in sight of the last homely house. A generation had passed since he last had returned to the place he still thought of as home. Long had he journeyed and much had he seen; wonders and horrors that he had not so much as dreamed of when he set out.
The inexperienced young chieftain had become a great leader of men, healer and warrior both worthy of the heart of the fairest of maidens.
Much had he suffered and much had he learned. Aragorn had left Rivendell as a boy and returned as a man.
