What are your fondest memories of your childhood? And the saddest? Write briefly about a memory that is particularly powerful, whether it is happy or sad.
Write a story, poem or create an artwork based on those feelings and experiences or based on a character's memories. |

I just finished updating the links list, so all entries created so far can be found here. Banners and icons for participants are available here.
Today is also the day Frodo destroyed the Ring in LotR and it is Tolkien Reading Day, so best wishes to all for today's myriad Middle-earth holidays! :)

Dawn, I leave it up to you how you want to list this. I don't know what the policy is on one story being used for more than one prompt. I certainly feel I've addressed each day's element; but I'm not necessarily trying to write each day, so if you feel it's appropriate to only list it under one day, I am completely okay with that. I would feel equally comfortable with it being listed under today or yesterday.

Date: 2009-03-26 12:40 am (UTC)No hurry on reading it. You've reviewed every single piece I've written, I think, or nearly all; and I haven't reviewed any of yours. Please take your time.

Date: 2009-04-03 04:57 am (UTC)Isn't it funny how easy it is to get fixated on those small things we had as children? My dad sent me a picture taken some time ago of my sister's and my playroom in disarray, and how I have loved squinting at the picture and trying to recognize familiar old toys!

Date: 2009-04-04 06:26 am (UTC)Well I'd better continue writing, I so want to complete this challenge. I've been hampered by a week of computer problems and a week I was unable to be online!
