Notes: I thought I had already posted this here, but I hadn't, so I managed to have something for the month appreciating my favorite elf.

My daughter has her daddy wrapped around her little finger. After watching her and my husband play together one evening, it got me thinking about Finarfin and Galadriel and what their relationship might have been like. I hope I posted this correctly (I always seem to mess up the first go round posting here). Please let me know what you think of this little fic.

New Posting: Crossroads of Time, Chapter 1

Although I've written several short fics since August 2004 when I started posting this story at ff.net, this is my very first fan fic and the longest story I have ever written. I will say it defintely gets better as it goes and it is still a WIP (just finished writing ch 20 this week). It is quirky and different and really isn't a Mary Sue, so don't argue the point with me until you've read through chapter 19. I'm a bit nervous posting my eldest baby here, so please be nice.

Summary: A woman not of Arda but in the position of being able to change Arda’s past, finds herself becoming an integral part of it instead. Deals with some moral issues and some Eldarin social issues as well.

This Chapter: We meet Ariella, an alien from the Fourth Age who is in training under the tutelage of Elrond and some others to become a liaison between the peoples of Arda and her race. We also join Ariella for the first 2 or 3 hours of her 4 hour journey back in time and learn the dire consequences of petting a First Age deer while standing in the middle of no where.
