Characters: Fingon & Turgon with appearances by the 3 Fëanorian Cs, Finrod, and bb!Angrod.
Summary: During an extended family trip to Alqualondë, Turgon learns a thing or two about the making and breaking of fortresses, and Fingon spouts many proverbs in the name of brotherly comfort.
Author's Notes: This was written for lotr_community's challenge to write a story themed around "wisdom", somehow incorporating a proverb prompt ("Hatred is as blind as love").
