Admin Post: "New Year's Resolution" Challenge Closing Soon

This is a friendly reminder that the final day to post fanworks for the New Year's Resolution challenge and receive stamps for them is 10 February. (As always, this deadline is for stamps only; if you don't want the stamp, you can post challenge works whenever you want!)

Text-based fanworks and podfics must be posted to the SWG archive and classified under the New Year's Resolution challenge. Art and other types of fanworks should be posted to our Dreamwidth or LiveJournal communities in order to receive stamps. The exception to this is if you continued to work on the 30-Day Character Study as part of your New Year's Resolution challenge. That is the only challenge where you can receive a stamp without having to post a fanwork. On the 10th, I will put up a post where you can claim your stamps and report your progress on this challenge. You can also email me at moderator@silmarillionwritersguild.org. (Please let me know the number of prompts completed and if you completed any of the following types: creative writing, nonfiction/meta, art, and multimedia. I do not need to know which specific prompts you completed; it really is easier if you just send me those two pieces of information I asked for!)

Progress on Stamp Collections
Unfortunately, I am behind on stamp collections for the December challenge. My computer crashed last month and took Photoshop with it in its flaming ruin. I've since reinstalled Photoshop, but I lost some valuable time in there that I'm now trying to make up.

How Stamp Collections Will Work in 2018
We will continue to build clickable stamp collections for challenge participants in 2018. Click on a stamp to see the fanwork that earned it (or the collection of fanworks that earned a commenter stamp)!

If you had a 2017 collection, your 2018 collection will replace it on your profile. The 2017 collection--both the image and the HTML code for the image map--will remain available to you. And of course, since you have the code, you can put it back on your profile if you want! :) You can also let me know if you don't want me to take your 2017 collection down, and I will leave it up when I add your 2018 collection.

2018 collections will have a stamp linking to your 2017 collection, if you had one.

Once I create your 2018 collection, I will send you an email with links and instructions on how to access it.
