Do not miss the last week of our current challenge "Naturalist's Guide to Middle-earth", which invites you to glimpse into the notebooks of explorers and naturalists as inspiration for your fanwork. We welcome a new SWG archive member this month.
The Character of the Month biography is the third part of Melian's biography, by Oshun. The final installment of this three-part biography closes Melian's story in The Silmarillion with a specific focus on how her embodiment in physical form affected her and aligns with other canonical writings on the embodiment of the Maiar.
The New at the Archive section of the newsletter lists all the fanworks that were added or updated in our archive during the month of September.
Our Around the World and Web presents a compilation of recent articles of interest and announcements within the Tolkien fandom and the fandom at large, as well as challenges, conferences, calls for papers, and more.
