International Fanworks Day Reminder!

International Fanworks Day is February 15, which is now only a few days away. If you are participating in this year's IFD challenge, please make sure to have your stories posted to the community on or before the 15th. The community is currently on moderated status, and we will unlock all of the IFD stories on the 15th.

I've added an "international fanworks day" tag to the tags list, so you are welcome to use this to tag your story. Community posting guidelines can be found here.

Still want to get involved? It's not too late--just sign up here! We have challenges for both writers and reviewers. (Creators of other types of fanwork are welcome to use the prompts too, of course, but since the challenges were intended as writing challenges, we can't necessarily guarantee that they'll work as well for other fanworks.)

Lastly, if you have signed up for the reviewer's challenge, please let us know through a comment on this post or the original post or a message or an email (we're really not picky!) when you finish so that we can add you to the list of winners we will announce on the 15th.

Hi i was trying to post my stories but I received a message that "Maximum queued posts for this community+poster combination reached."

Because this is a free community, each member can have only one story in the queue at a time. I didn't consider the possibility of a person posting more than one or would have paid for a month's upgrade--mea culpa! I can either unlock the story that is in there now so that you can post another, or once I unlock the stories in the queue tomorrow and set the community back to "unmoderated," you can post the second piece. I am happy to do whichever you prefer; just let me know. :) Sorry again for the mix-up!

Did you find someone? If not, do feel free to make a post to the community (which I will approve, since it's currently on moderated status ... I'm on a train with wifi \0/ for the next eight hours, so I should be able to get to it right away). I'm not sure how many people read the comments here ...

oh no worries. I think I misunderstood the process. I will wait until the first story is posted then I will post the second piece. Thanks so much for doing this. I appreciate all the work that goes into stuff like this!!!
