The SWG's June 2017 Newsletter has been posted!
This month we bring you an update on the survey about the new LiveJournal Terms of service, and on the import of our SWG LJ community toDreamwidth, and we welcome three new members to SWG. If you haven’t seen it yet, have a look at our latest challenge, “The Hero's Journey Matryoshka Challenge”.
Our character biography for this month is Erellont, by Oshun. As one of only three companions of Eärendil to venture into the West, Erellont receives only passing mention in The Silmarillion, but his character is open to inference and poses unanswered questions.
Are you looking for something new to read? Our newsletter lists all the stories, essays, and poems added or updated on our SWG archive during the past month of May. To keep up to date with the wider fandom world, our Around the World and Web section includes recent articles of interest as well as fandom news and events.
As always, our newsletter is only possible through the contributions from a team of SWG volunteers. Join me in thanking Oshun, Elleth, Angelica, and Dawn for creating and compiling our newsletter content this month.
