Silmarillion Writers Guild October 2018 Challenge B-Movie
There have been nine exciting contributions to our B-Movie challenge (though one of them is not linked here, at the author's request), and we hope you’ll find the time to take a look at some (or all) of them if you haven’t already. The links in this round-up post go to the respective Table of Contents, where you can view more information about the story or, in one case, the playlist. If you enjoy an author's work, please consider dropping them a comment to let them know!

Of Tuor by Grundy. Itarillë has something serious on her mind and needs someone to talk it over with. Lomion isn't entirely sure why she's asking for advice.

The stranger song by Agelast. Celebrimbor has a realization about his partner, Annatar.

Reading the Silmarillion on Remembrance Sunday by Himring. Tolkien meets Wilfred Owen on 11 November 2018 in the mind of a reader. Part of the Taking Readings II collection.

A Hunt in Nan Elmoth by HannaGoldworthy. Celegorm decides to take a break from the Siege of Angband to spend time with his youngest brothers in the one hobby they all enjoy.  Things go awry, and that's the fun part.

The Singer by MaglortheMinstrel. He thinks that he's going insane, that only his now ruined music stays. His memories are fleeing, abandoning him. But some remain.

The Holy or the Broken by Independence1776. Nerdanel finds Maglor on a Florida beach.

The Night Your Heart Shivers by StarSpray. "All right, hunting down Daeron the Minstrel: that sounds like fun. But where would we even begin to look for him?"

We Belong To An Old Old Wood by Kimaracretak. (Fanmix) A Lúthien/Goldberry/Thuringwethil horror-themed fanmix about fey girls and murder in the world.

Some house-keeping notes:
[personal profile] dawn_felagund is busily working on the stamp collections and hoping to have them finished by the next weekend. If you need a comment stamp for a challenge prior to September’s Sitcom! challenge or if you are missing a stamp from your collection, please contact us at moderator@silmarillionwritersguild.org or through any of our social media channels.

We're looking forward to seeing you around for the last challenge of the year, which will start on November 20. See you then!
