Maybe because of his bad attitude towards the Feanorians and his whole little "I'm going to hide in a hole in the mountain" philosophy (like I have a lot of room to talk, as a rabid Finrod fangurl), but Turgon has never seemed sympathetic to me.
Angrod and Aegnor, I find intriguing. Was it Angrod who fell in love with a mortal woman in some versions of Tolkien's story? That bunny has been nibbling me for some time now.
