I agree. "Oh dammit, we lost. No hope left!" would probably be good enough for an evening of brooding, but going on a suicide mission needs a bit more. And love of family fits that bill nicely!
Hehe, I like you, too, and your stories. Even though sometimes I am a lazy commenter, I love getting comments so I try to leave them.
If there was a FIngolfin appretiation year I admit I would be more likely to post whatever stories were relating to it sometime..around.. oh say 2010 :)
