I found this piece a few months back but have been inundated with archive work and haven't had time to leave a note letting you know that I enjoyed it. I'm an admitted Feanatic, but your points are solid in defense of a character who doesn't get nearly enough love (imho), especially when compared to his sometimes-murderous and decidedly crazier half-brother.
Would you consider adding source citations and maybe putting this up on the reference section? I'd be happy to help you with this, of course, if you're short on time. It'd have to be approved by our reference readers too, but with citations in place, I don't see this as being a problem.
