Sep. 29th, 2007 03:26 pmFor Keiliss who asked for a reborn Glorfindel, preferably the one from the "Crumbling Walls" ficlets
On alien shores..
Again I stand on milk-white sands
but these lacks the crystal brilliance
of the land we left.
The sea behind me shines a clear azur
a far cry from the midnight darkness
of the western sea.
This land is different, shattered, torn
by wars long lost and lands long shifted,
what I knew is gone.
I came ashore, alone, unaided
on a ship with neither sail nor oar
manned by only me
On alien shores with death behind me,
a scholar turned warrior, an actor
with no part to play

Thank you so much for writing this for me, Uli dear. I love this Glorfindel so much - I hope to see more of him some day.
*hugs you*
