I'm pleased to announce that nominations are still open for the FPS and Classic Fiction categories of the Men of Middle Earth Awards, celebrating the extensive variety of pairings in the LOTR slash fandom.

Eligible FPS fics must have been completed between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007; stories completed by December 31, 2005 can be nominated in the Classic Fiction category.

Awards will be presented based on story length and pairing; winners will be announced at the end of January. Specific guidelines and eligibility requirements can be found here (for FPS) and here (for Classic Fiction).

Nominations close December 12 and you don't have to be a member of the community to nominate. The RPS round was a lot of fun so come join us in recognizing the wide range of LOTR slash pairings!
