It's crazy, but this prompt is causing me all kinds of headaches. I'll figure something out, but what a pain. Maybe it's because I don't cook - I microwave and boil water?

It's starting to come clear. Most of these prompts have taken a good workday to think about. I am sticking to a clear Silm framework, and I do think an ode to food is more Hobbity, and therefore out of my timeframe. Otherwise I could probably do quite well since poetry has always been a love of mine. Thanks for your suggestions, I will mull them over and see what floats at the end of the day :-))

Yeah, this one was definitely more of a gimme for the LotR writers who had to endure yesterday's religion challenge/one-day nod to the Second Age! :) I was overflowing with ideas for that one; for this one, I would probably write about a feast. Because I like eating food and so do my Elves. (As if I had time to write! :)

Good luck with it!

A gimme? This was anything BUT a gimme. I had a devil of a time figuring out how to approach this. But I think I got it nailed. And if it passes the inspection of my fellow Lizards, I will post it at SWG soon. Whew - Day 15 is in the can.

Sorry--should have been clearer: more of a gimme for the Hobbit writers made miserable by the Armenelos challenge that asked them to explore something that doesn't exist in their race's culture at all. :) I think Armenelos was much easier for we Silmfolk, whereas this one will be easier for the LotR writers.

I'm hoping to get passports updated tomorrow, so I'll count you down for this one!
