During our Silmarillion40 event in 2017, one of our most prolific writers and commenters Himring compiled a help list of Quenya names and their meanings, in case people had trouble working out who is who in fic. Although she claims this is not an official list, she used her extensive knowledge of the canonical sources - mainly "The Shibboleth of Fëanor" in Peoples of Middle-earth - and the "Quenya names" links page on Tolkien Gateway and the linked entries to put it together. So, if you're in doubt about who Angamaitë is or the story you're reading mentions somebody called Quendingoldo and there's no clue as to who that may be, this is the resource you need! And as you're consulting the list, take some time to read some of Himring's marvelous stories too!
