silwritersguildVolunteers who want to cheerlead will be assigned an author or artist (or more than one, if you dare!) to encourage across the duration of the Season of Writing Dangerously. We absolutely encourage participating writers and artists to cheerlead as well. As a cheerleader, you will support your assigned author or artist in whatever way you two decide. This might include brainstorming for ideas over email, sending encouraging notes, or providing support over chat as the writer or artist works toward a particular goal.
Cheerleaders will also receive a banner at the end of the event.
Authors and artists who want the support of a cheerleader will be matched with a cheerleader who shares their interests and preferred modes of communication. Other comments: I tend to have problems with mpreg and kinks (that is, if they are central to the narrative and depicted at length.) I also sometimes have problems with some kinds of horror.

Do you have the time to cheerlead just one author? If not, how many are you willing to cheerlead? YES, I'm afraid. I wouldn't want to try more, and then see that I can't do it because I don't have enough time. So, just one author.
Other comments: As I mentioned, I am not so crazy about hobbits (sorry, hobbit fans :) ). My favorite LorT character is Boromir.
And I would have never remembered mpreg, had not the others before me mentioned it. Even fictional worlds have some physics-, biology- and other laws, and mpreg is biologically impossible. I have a scientific mind, so please, no mpreg for me.

Other comments: Like mentioned above, my own interests/"expertise" (term applied lightly!) tend to lie in Elf, especially Finwean-centric fic (no surprise there I'm sure), but I'm happy to be sold on any story. I just might not be as useful where brainstorming for e.g. hobbit stories is concerned, but I'll try my best!
