silwritersguildVolunteers who want to cheerlead will be assigned an author or artist (or more than one, if you dare!) to encourage across the duration of the Season of Writing Dangerously. We absolutely encourage participating writers and artists to cheerlead as well. As a cheerleader, you will support your assigned author or artist in whatever way you two decide. This might include brainstorming for ideas over email, sending encouraging notes, or providing support over chat as the writer or artist works toward a particular goal.
Cheerleaders will also receive a banner at the end of the event.
Authors and artists who want the support of a cheerleader will be matched with a cheerleader who shares their interests and preferred modes of communication.
