SoWD Monday Motivation: Any Impetuous Participants out There??

Cheerleader assignments have been sent out, so it's time to get serious about meeting our goals for the Season of Writing Dangerously! My comods and I will be posting every Monday to remind and motivate our participants to work on their projects. This is also a great chance to brag about your progress, cry for help, and cheer on fellow SoWD participants!

Believe it or not, the Season of Writing Dangerously has been underway for almost a month. So how's everyone doing? Making awesome progress I hope?

I know there's some of you out there nibbling your nails because you haven't even started your project. For this week's Monday Motivation, we hope to provide the nudge needed to get everyone started towards their goal. Already started? Don't worry, this week's post applies to you too!

Tolkien's stories are full of characters doing things in haste, whether rushing into battle or exile or speaking before thinking. In honor of the Feanors and Bilbos who stir up trouble in their haste and make the stories so interesting, we offer the Impetuous Participant award this week. If you have already started or if you first begin your project in the next week, you are official an Impetuous Participant, one of those who can't wait to get on the road and see what's over that next hill. We applaud you for your progress so far and invite you to enjoy one of the Impetuous Participant icons below! Cheerleaders, if you have contacted your authors/artists by the end of today (Monday), you're also welcome to an Impetuous Participant icon!

Just a reminder: Authors/artists, you should hear from your assigned cheerleader very soon if you have not already. Please let us know if you do not. Once you hear from your cheerleader, please do reply to her, even if just to say hi! Cheerleaders, if you don't hear from your author/artist by next week, please let us know so that we can confirm that we have accurate contact information for the person.

*shuffles feet* I just started tonight. I didn't even work on the story I'd planned on this weekend, but the one I'd planned on during the week. It's the easier one, and I've mostly made notes and comments about what needs changing. I'd hoped to have something finished this weekend. Obviously, that didn't happen. :(
