Hey, thanks for posting this, Sirielle! I spotted the m-type thing on dA, and it piqued my interest. I confess that I thought it might lend itself to, uh, some Lil Gothmog-inspired cartoons. However, my time is largely spoken for these days, thanks to RL, so carving out time for fannish activities is challenging. With that in mind, is there any kind of deadline associated with the m-type thing? (Sorry, I can only use the word "meme" in its evolutionary, Dawkinsonian sense. ;^))

Hi! Nope, there is no deadline, nor limit. Do it when you want, it's all for fun :) There are many meme circling on dA, but there was never a Silmarillion related one. It doesn't mean there can't be more created :)

OMG! I love it. I need to work out the technical side. I have no way to go from paper to computer other than with photos. Maybe I can buy a dark marker. Pen and pencil do not photograph well!

Oh wow... these days I mostly draw stuff on paper and digitalising hasn't been a huge succes, this might take forever with my rl obligations LOL But wow, I saw so many great ones!
