HELP, I lost the name of a fic on Silmarillionwritersguild,
it was about fingolfin, he had written a journal about his life in Aman, and about his affairs.
it was in first person, fingolfin's POV, in the form of journal entries, it was long.

I don't remember much else.

I think perhaps you mean "The journal of Fingolfin" by JDE or j_dav (or her whole Song of Sunset series)? This isn't on SWG anymore, but it seems still to be up on HASA:
