Our April 2018 newsletter has been posted!
This edition brings you the latest news within the SWG, including the conclusion of Back to Middle-earth 2018: Music of the Waters, funny cartoons to ease the sense of doom or sadness that might be experienced when reading The Silmarillion, and a reminder to participate in our “Middle-earth Museum” challenge. We also welcome seven new members who joined us during March!
This month's biography is Ailinel, by Oshun. In honor of Legendarium Ladies April, this month's biography looks at the life of a woman who existed at the heart of the politics during Aldarion's reign in Númenor and yet remains voiceless. What do we know of Ailinel's character and what of the vast questions that remain?
March (and B2MeM!) have brought us over fifty stories and poems added or updated in our archive, if you fancy something new to read. Do not miss our newsletter’s Around the World and Web section which includes a wide collection of links to the latest articles, fandom news, challenges, conferences or events announcements from within and beyond the Tolkien fan community.
As always, this newsletter would not be possible without the contribution of several volunteers. Many thanks to this month's contributors: Oshun, Elleth, Angelica, and Dawn!
