Rise Above SWG challenge April 15 through May 10

Below is a list of the dozen stories created for last month's Rise Above challenge. Please remember that deadlines are for collecting creator stamps only: If you requested a prompt and haven't posted yet, your fanwork is still welcome! In fact, it's not even too late to request a prompt if you're still interested in joining in.

The new challenge will be announced on Tuesday, May 15th. Stamp collections will hopefully be updated by then as well. (I will include a note on the next challenge post if I didn't get this finished. I'm ahead of where I usually am at this point--a good sign, I hope!)

As always, we hope you'll give some of these stories a look and please do consider letting the author know if you like their work! (There are no deadlines for commenter stamps, just sayin' ...) All links go to the Table of Contents, where you can learn more about each story.

Such marks we leave by Morcondil. Raising a child of the house of Finwë is no small task, and Elenwë is plagued with doubts as Idril grows to become much like her father’s family. She sets out to give her daughter a gift worthy of a Noldorin princess.

It is! How often have I started something, been distracted by the kids, and then never finished it? VERY often. So I definitely understand. Everything else would be hypocritical. ^^
