Reminder: "B-Movie" challenge ends soon!
Nov. 5th, 2018 03:44 pm
Our current challenge B-Movie ends on November 15. We’re pushing the original deadline a little because this reminder is coming a few days late – and also because we could use a little more time to prepare the next challenge! So everyone who has been frantically struggling to reach the deadline can breathe a bit easier, with five extra days to finish – or even start from scratch! - your response for this chalenge.
When we say the challenge "ends," we mean that fanworks posted after November 15 will not receive a stamp. You are nonetheless welcome to continue posting challenge responses and even request prompts after November 15. These responses just won't receive participant stamps. (Stamps for comments have no due date.)
If you need a reminder what this challenge is all about:
In the spirit of Halloween, this month's challenge is a Matryoshka challenge based on the predictable plot arc of the hilariously abominable, eye-rollingly corny, so-bad-they're-actually-kinda-good horror films. Your fanwork does not have to be a horror story, but prompts will be loosely inspired by the plot arcs of these films. (Please note that prompts are not horror-specific. Any genre of fanwork can be created based on these prompts, although there may be a special reward for participants who attempt a horror fanwork.)
See our challenges page for instructions on how to request a prompt and full challenge guidelines.
B-Movie fanworks that have been posted so far can be found here.
