Title: Oromë among the Quendi

Warnings: There's an Elf breastfeeding her baby in the lower right corner, so maybe don't look there if that idea bothers you.
Summary: Painted for a quote from the "Love Actually" challenge:
Oromë loved the lands of Middle-earth, and he left them unwillingly and came last to Valinor; and often of old he passed back east over the mountains and returned with his host to the hills and the plains. ~ Valaquenta
It was during one of these trips to Middle-earth that Oromë discovered and befriended the Quendi in Cuiviénen, of course. Here he's already telling them about the splendour of Valinor, hoping to convince them all to come there. Audience reactions vary.
A/N: As it turned out I won't manage to complete the artwork in time for the deadline. I did, however, manage to finish the lineart for the foreground, so that must stand as it is for now. What made me think I should do a crowd scene, anyway?

Heh! Some classes are like that, yes. (Well, nearly. So far, none of my students have been making out or frying fish... though I wouldn't be surprised if some of them tried, either! XD)
