Our Our September newsletter has been posted!
This month the Notion Club Revival challenge invites you to browse through our collection of mysterious documents and bring one or more of them into your Silmarillion fanwork. September's character biography is Arthad, by Oshun. One of Barahir's ten companions, Arthad embodies the stoic bravery that characterizes the House of Bëor.
Also this month, our archive website is suffering from a few technical issues after our hosting company updated their server software, making our venerable eFiction platform creak at the joints. We are working to resolve these issues. In the meantime we ask you to be patient with us, and to report any glitches you may come across. We also welcome five new joiners since our last newsletter.
Like every month, you can easily catch up with all the works that have been updated or completed in the New at the Archive section of the newsletter. Do not miss Around the World and Web which presents you with a large collection of articles of interest from the Tolkien fandom, and the fandom world at large, as well as challenges, fandom events, conferences, calls for papers, and more.
Many thanks to Oshun, Elleth, Lyra, Angelica, and Dawn for their contributions to this month's newsletter!
