Our November 2018 newsletter has been posted!
The News section invites you to rediscover the “Silmarillion Re-read” that Lyra and Independence1776 brought to us all in 2014, and reminds you of our latest challenge "B-Movie". We also welcome six new joiners since our October edition.
This month's biography by Oshun is dedicated to Eldalótë, the wife of Angrod. mentioned only in History of Middle-earth texts and not once in the published Silmarillion. This biography reviews what is known of this elusive character, including what linguistic clues can tell us about whether she accompanied her husband to Middle-earth.
Our New at the Archive section brings you the monthly update of fanworks added or updated to the SWG archive during the past month. Finally, do not miss the latest news about the wider Tolkien fandom and calls for papers compiled in Around the World and Web.
Thanks to our team of volunteers who contributed this month to the wonderful content of this newsletter —Elleth, Oshun, Angelica, and Dawn!
