Ossiriand

In the forests of Ossiriand, the Children of Ilúvatar--Elves and Men--finally meet.

Heartofoshun, please please please where is the gorgeous picture in your icon from? I've seen it in other icons but never complete and I'd really love to enjoy the whole thing in a regular size. Thank you

It is the incomparable Kasiopea! Cutting, coloring, pasting and labeling is all my sacrilegious mutilation of her wonderful piece. Enjoy the site she has lots more wonderful elves.

Yes, she's great. Is your other icon (Maedrhos in white, carrying something in his hand which I cannot make out, a sword?) also by Kasiopea?

Do you mean this icon? I will have to find out whose work this one is. I am not sure, but I had decided anyway that I should know at least whose work I am stealing. So I will find out for you. It is a sword he is holding.

Yes, that's it.Thanks a million. I had seen it in another icon (Dawn's, I think) but was never able to enjoy the picture in a bigger size (I think I'll need to have my glasses checked sooner than planned).
