Hi, Shemyaza!

I've already mentioned my Silm fic, A Singular Honour, to Dawn, but since it's not strictly only Silmarillion, but has a few aspects that are, shall we say, more modern, I wasn't sure that it fitted the bill.

Anything with Silmarillion works for me! :) If I sound overly harsh about things *needing* to be Sil-based in this community, it is because LotR seems to so easily overwhelm Sil wherever I go. But I am a liberal through-and-through and that includes in my interpretation of what constitutes Sil-based writing.

I haven't written any more of my fic yet, I have the grandson here at the moment and it's more difficult to concentrate. (How on earth did I manage when my two boys were small?)

Wow, that sounds challenging! Good luck to you and hope you get some writing time soon! (And also enjoy your grandson :D)

I will come back here when I get a moment, but in the meantime I look forward to some discussions here, but I think I need to become an LJ user at some stage. I hate being Anonymous.

Accounts are free and easy. You don't have to use your personal journal if you just want to post in the community. I run an RPG community as well as silwritersguild and none of the members use their LJs except to post entries into the RPG except me.
